To date, six Straw Bale homes ranging in size from 500 to 3,000 sq. ft. have been constructed throughout the Ozark, Dent and Howell counties. Project technician Richard Lorenz has provided technical assistance to the homeowners, with support from our partners HUD and the University of Missouri Extension Service- Douglas County. The local communities were invited to tour the completed homes this month and the tour was a great sucess. Congratulations to the new homeowners and a big thanks to Richard Lorenz. Job well done!
